The lightsaber is a special weapon, created both for elegant combat and for ceremonial, the very image of which was inextricably linked with the world of Jedi and Sith.
It was a blade of pure energy (or, more precisely, plasma) emitted from the handle, most often created by the owner of the weapon himself based on his own needs, requirements and style. Due to the unique balance of the sword, the concentration of all its weight in the hilt, it was extremely difficult to handle it without special training. In the hands of masters wielding the Force, such as the Jedi or their dark brethren the Sith, the lightsaber inspired great respect and even fear. The ability to wield a lightsaber meant having incredible skill and concentration, masterful dexterity and, as a rule, harmony with the Force.
