4 Choice of the appropriate adsorbent
The existing interest toward arsenic indemnification in the developing countries is based on the usage of chemical compounds with iron as they are inexpensive as well as useful (Ramaswami et al. 2001; Su et al. 2001). Speaking about the number of synthetic sorbents among which lanthanum compounds (Tokunaga et al. 1997), manganese oxides (Manning et al. 2002), Aqua-bindTM (Senapati et al. 2001), and granulose ferric hydroxide (Pal 2001) which showed the necessity in the removing process of arsenic.
