Public and private organizations of the Russian Federation are beginning to implement projects to develop business - models. This activity is not a tribute to some of the new "technological" fashion since there are quite understandable reasons related with the action of set of objective economic and institutional factors.
First of all, it should be noted the presence of documented business enterprise architecture is a prerequisite for its certification both the international standards ISO 9001:2000, and the Russian GOST R ISO 9001-2001. Moreover, currently, a number of developed countries have adopted standards that define requirements for the structure and order for the construction of business - architecture.
According to Hammer (Hammer, M., Chang, J., 1997), under the conditions of ever-increasing investment in information technology infrastructure of the organization, prior modeling of expected changes in business processes and evaluation of effects are the main tools of justification and optimization of the cost of modernization. The presence of the documented business architecture in the organization is one of the characteristics of its management maturity, an additional factor of investment attractiveness (Hammer, M., Champy, J., 1993)/
